Polly,
Try a wholesale cabinetmakers' supply. Normally they only sell wholesale to
cabinetmakers, but many will sell to customers off the street. Check the
yellow pages for one in your area.
A manufacturer of such latches - and stainless steel hinges, handles,
pulls, knobs, drawer slides, catches, etc. is Lamp/Sugatsune. Call the
cabinet supply company and ask them if they carry or can order the Sugatsune
hardware (It is very commonly used on RVs, boats and traveling exhibits.)
Also, ask them for a catalog. You may discover all sorts of things you
didn't know you needed!
If you can't find a local source, e-mail me off line and I will get you a
catalog (and any hardware you select). I used to be a commercial
cabinetmaker, and can still get supplies.
