Hi Toby:
Here is some information from old sales literature in the
Archives. The pipe frames (at least in 1949) had an interior
height of 6'2" while the 13 panel trailers (at least in
1954) had an interior height of 6'3". I could not find any
interior height specs for the 7 panels trailers in 1958 or
1959, the last two year of sales literature I have.
The height of the exterior door was increased about 2 inches
in 1955 so people would not have to stoop as much when
entering the trailer. Door opening height might contribute
slightly to your perception of interior height.
