Yes, synthetic seems to be better, but beware, my Dodge's owners manual
sayes not to extend oil change intervals if using synthetics. This makes
synthetics too expensive for me. I just change the oil at 3000 mile
intervals using regular oil. No problems in over 20 years of towing!
