Don,

I have a '93 34' A/S which I bought in late '94 when it was only 1 1/2 years
old.  The center rock guard window is apparently the original factory
equipment and is slightly deflected inward at the center.  As you suggested
the force of the wind against it probably presses it in.  My guess is that
is a normal condition.  Possibly earlier A/Ss had a stronger or thicker
plexiglass insert that didn't deflect.
