=================
I refer you to J.C. Whitney automotive (www.jcwhitney.com), catalog
#646J-01, page 143, rear tire carriers. I have used the fold down type
on my '56 and find it very satisfactory. You should consider that you
may have to strenthen your rear bumber by wleding on some support metal.
The tire, tire cover, and bracket will add some60 to 80 lbs and as it
will be vibrating and stressing you bumper when moving down the road you
want to be sure and not lose the bumper.
