Title: history
Andrea,

The WBCCI members are supposed to remove their numbers from their trailers before they sell them. As you can tell, not very many do so.

The number is just a member number and no information is tracked as far as I know.

The membership roster (with numbers) is printed yearly so any member can introduce him/herself to another. Most members treat this info as confidential, (beyond whether or not a number is available) since addresses are also included.

Subject: [VAC] history

Hi,
I have been looking for an airstream now for awhile,
and thankfully avoiding some major pitfalls thanks
to feedback from newsgroup members.

Some trailers I have looked at have had member numbers
removed, others still have them on the the trailer.
Can the history and service records be accessed through
these numbers? Does anyone track individual trailers?
Will I have *the RED VIOLIN* of airstreams someday?

Are these member numbers confidential?

thanks
Andrea
