Go for it, Roger. Nah, you'll be OK without all that stuff. Just take it
easy. You'll probably notice the lack of sway bars more than anything. The
trans should be OK. We-all get pretty obsessive about stuff like coolers and
guages, and they do pay off for long-haul towing, but you should be fine on
one trip without. Suggestion--It's been noted by group members that the
highest trans temps they've recorded have been when doing dead-slow
maneuvering on hills and grass. So when you do that, use 4WD low range, and
let the gears, not the converter, do the work.
