I can believe that. My Dad had a car, just like one I have (station wagon),
except he mixed radials and bias ply tires. It was absolutely awful on the
highway. This was with the radials and bias placed on the recommended
axles. It sure made a big improvement when he went to all radials. I'd
NEVER mix the two tire types on ANY vehicle now.
