Hi Dave, Love those caravels!My 67 has a sewer type fitting glued on,and when not on 
shore power I screw a
cap on it , like the one with the hose fitting on it for grey water. When the power 
line from my solar is
going thru it ,or a hose. , I stuff a piece of upholstery foam in  it .
