Our '65 Caravel has the same Thetford sewer fittings on the utility outlet as the sewer outlet, including a twistlock cap secured with a lanyard. I have seen the same set-up on other '60 Airstreams, so if not original, it sure was very popular at one time to install. Attached is a crummy picture, but you get the idea.
