Gretings:

Since we often sharing information about Airstream dealers I thought I
would share my recent experience with Can-Am in London, ON.

Back in February I had a complete hitch package, brakes, transmission
cooler, etc installed on my tow vechile. When I purchased my 1977 Safari I
also received the Reese head & bars with my trailer. I was told to bring
these with me when I had the package installed at Can-Am. During the
installation they suggested I purchase the EZ Lift head & I did and they
gave me a $100. credit for my used Reese head & bars.

When I was driving home (350 miles) I realized I probably should have kept
my Reese head & bars so I called their service manager John and shared with
him I would like to "buy back" my used Reese head and bars since my
daughter had a Suburban and could use them. John shared that he would put
them back for me and I could pick them up at my convience. I told him it
might not be to May & he said no problem.

Two weeks ago I e-mailed him to tell him I would be there last Tuesday. He
e-mailed me back that would be fine.

Now here's what happened. I got there on Tuesday & John found my bars - BUT
could not find my Reese adjustable head. He checked for over an hour then
spoke with Andy (the owner) during this entire time they were very
professional. Then they explained to me that they could not find my used
Reese adjustable head, in fact they did not even have another used or new
Reese head BUT another dealer in town did and if I would wait they would
send someone to go and pick it up.

I waited for about a half hour and then John gave me a NEW REESE ADJUSTABLE
HEAD WITH A NEW BALL AND A NEW BALL FOR THE SWAY CONTROL!

I thank him and he said it was their fault that they had lost my used Reese
head and knew I had driven 350 miles and wanted to make it right!!!

Friends - I think they were more than fair and the price I paid was still
just $100.00. Remember with the US exchange rate it will be a lot less than
$100.00. I did not figure it out - just put it on my credit card But I
think the exchange rate was $1.56 to $1.00.

Needless to say I was very pleased and sure like the good folks at Can-Am.
I have been into their dealership 5 times and feel I have always been
treated very fair.

Just my expereince and I thought it was worth sharing.

Have a great day with your Airstream.
