I had a chance to sit down and talk with the manager of my park today about many issues.  I know that at least one spot is coming vacant and I asked if one of my friends on the Vintage Airstream list could have a shot at it.

She replied "No more Airstreams!  I'm sorry I let yours in."  She then went on to say that I had been a model tenant so that she had accepted my unit which is in very fine shape . . . but no others.  I asked why?  We have fifth wheelers, motorhomes.

Her reasoning was that Airstreams cannot easily be skirted and it is a requirement of the park to have skirting.  When she LET me in she assumed that I would get conventional skirting.  Instead I used plastic lattice to shape it around the curves.  She is still unhappy with that lattice and has developed an attitude about Airstreams.

Has anyone got an idea on how to get some aluminum lattice that is quick to install and remove?  It would help me and other Airstream owners that would like to reside in this lovely park.
