Peters and Russell became PAR and was bought out by Jabsco, a subsidiary of
ITT (not sure of the chronological order of all of this).  You'll find lots
of hits on Google searching for PAR pumps or Jabsco pumps.

Here's the current site for Jabsco water pumps:

You could try sending them an email inquiry regarding repairs or rebuild
kits.  If that route proves expensive, just about any 12v marine/RV water
pump will work as a replacement.

Either way, the accumulator tank Is probably a good idea, as others on this
list have had made favorable comments in the past, after installing one.
Those with first hand experience may want to comment (again).
