         I use "3-M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner" 3-M p/n 051135-08984
- available at better auto parts store.
I use a LOT of paper towels, a plastic scraper, and ultimately my
fingernails for the last but.
The trick is to saturate the silicone, then turn the paper towel
often- but it finally gets it all off. It contains Naptha, Xylene and
Ethylbenzene. I'm sure if I were to have kids at this point, they would
probably have two heads ;)
