My brother has a '67 Belvedere with the slant 6.  That's a really good
engine, but not enough to pull an Airstream.  I doubt that the Belvedere is
sturdy and heavy enough to tow that much either.  The '65 Plymouth Fury sure
could!

The tired old Dodge van might have had a 318 V-8 like my car has.  The van
(or car) wears out long before the engine does. From what I've gathered, a
318 can tow OK (I just tried it!)
