so - you are speaking of the new modern one with
laminates throughout.
you can see images of the first prototype at
www.insidedesign.com
the version of this trailer is supposed to be out this
coming Fall.
a second prototype has been done with Airstream and it was shown to the
public for the first time in May.
i moderated an evening the the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design
Museum on May 17th.
the president of Airstream spoke along with the president of the WBCCI, the
designer, my partner Grace, and myself.
the new modern interior is getting all kinds of buzz.
the first prototype - which the new one is a version of - has been published
in over 35 magazines internationally over the past year.
it has also won a Good Design Award - was a runner up in the FX
international design awards - made it into this years International Design
Yearbook - and just won an Industrial Design Excellence Award through the
IDSA and Business Week magazine.

thanks for the keen observation.
"suburban tract home that was ......."
that was a good one.

as far as the people knocking it - wait until you see one in person.
