A few problems here.  The price of a new Bambi is markedly higher than more minimalist trailers with the same utility features.  For example a Fleetwood Coleman deluxe model is a little under $16K.  If a stripped down Bambi could get in that range then I think it would find the market.

For vintage purists, I don't think the aluminum composite used in todays Bambi compares to the heavier gauge of the vintage coaches.
