Scott and I have talked about the burning man event, and determined that it *is* a legal topic on the VACList provided that the discussion is related to airstreaming. BUT please remember a couple things when posting to the VACList - The primary goal is for restoration/maintenance type topics - but traveling is why we restore - so those threads are fine - but after a week or two, you may notice (and this has been mentioned by other members on the list) that the burning man thread changed into a discussion about swamp coolers. Please change the subject line. It's easy enough to do. As monitors, we read EVERY POST. As VACList members you are not required to read every post. With that in mind, the amount of latitude we give the list "topic-wise" is outstanding. Please respect that. Our moderation is just that. Moderation. "Too much" is unacceptable - that's about as technical as it gets, however, as a reminder - there IS a description of generally acceptable list practices posted on the VAC website.
