The planned voltage is 42 volts. Means 18 cells lead acid battery.
Probably electric power steering will be the first thing to go electric.
And it will likely save 10% on fuel consumption because it won't have to
use energy moving oil about doing nothing. There's more than handwriting
on the wall, there are SAE standards committees preparing standards for
equipment and procedures.
