Tim, according to the 1968 Owner's Manual, the
Tradewind had a dry weight of 3830 with a tongue weight of 444 lbs. Common
wisdom is all Airstreams got heavier over time. Apparently Airstream is taking
steps to reverse that trend with new models being made to be towed with SUVs and
minivans.
