On my Caravel, my dad made a battery support between the A frame rails behind the propane tanks (where the spare had been). There's enough room there for a size 27 deep cycle battery in a plastic battery box. He didn't like the idea of a battery inside the trailer (spills of acid and hydrogen where his main concerns).
