I asked the seller for the serial # to verify, but in the meantime looks
to be a '57 Ohio Globetrotter. If he has something that says its a
Wanderer - I have an open mind. As it doesn't have a bathroom, that
further pins it down as a '57 GT, as the 1958 18' Caravel the next year
came with a toilet.
Couple of things jump out at you. Those aren't the original 1950's
appliances in the galley - they are from the mid '60s - and the galley
cabinetry has be reworked with another species of wood. The gas lamp
has been removed (see the cap in the overhead galley roof locker?).
Those are the original lamps, though. Overall a nice little trailer,
though - beautiful body lines.
I noticed the auction for "1958 Bambi we ID'd as a Traveler closed early
due to a listing error - did someone contact the seller?
Later,
RJ
