Dr J - thanks for the quick feedback - I'll take it under advisement. The
principal reason i thought it possible to mount it in other positions is
that the compressor and other components are mounted somewhat 'sideways' in
the normal position, projecting into the space between the intake and
outflow exchangers... but rather than risk what could be a difficult
retro-fix, i think i'll work out an installation where the unit can simply
drop into a shock-mounted frame, with all the venting and wiring in place...
