Hi all:

I saw a movie a number of years ago that stuck in my mind. Featured an
Airstream trailer. It was called Bagdad Cafe.

Since it's a pretty old movie, I had trouble finding a copy so that I could
try to idendify the model. We found a copy at the local library (where old
Blockbuster movies go to die?).

Last night we watched it again. It's a delightful story about some misfit
type folks who live in Bagdad, which is a gas station/motel east of Barstow,
CA in the desert.

One minor character, Rudy Cox (Jack Palance) is an ex-Hollywood scenery
painter who lives in what I believe now to be a '65 Safari across I 40 from
the Bagdad Cafe.

Also some nice shots inside the trailer, although there are a lot of
decorations (little tapestries and cushions etc)covering up some of the
details, unfortunately. Also Jack Palance and the German lady he's painting
(!) clutter-up the works.

Get a chance, check out this film. Nice trailer, great story.
