The support page for shared folders makes a statement, "Vagrant will ignore your request for NFS synced folders on Windows". Is this because Vagrant assumes no NFS server is running in windows? If I install haneWin NFS server, I can mount NFS shares within my virtual box. But I can't figure out how to make Vagrant/VirtualBox use that NFS server. So it got me thinking, is there some code the detects the host is Windows and ignores any setting/requests to use NFS?
If not how do you enable the use of NFS? I have tried several methods and must be missing something.
