Hi there,

I am pretty new to Vagrant and stumbled upon the following limitation.

I set up a Vagrantfile with two different providers, vritualbox (local) and
aws.
I noticed that you can not bring up a machine with multiple providers
(https://docs.vagrantup.com/v2/providers/basic_usage.html).

But, it looks like you hack around this by moving the .vagrant folder.
Is this a totally crazy idea?

I also tried to setup two machines, one for local virtual box development,
the other on aws, but found this too complicated, because you'd have to
remember with machine with which provider you have to bring up.

My goal would be to have a local testing environment, with a production
replica online, just by using vagrant up/provision --provider=aws.

Best regards,
schmunk
