Hey List, currently i use Vagrant (VirtualBox) with a openSuSE 13.1 Box. The box has a "bread and butter" configuration. Nothing special: Webserver, Database, PHP. The system load inside the Box is always ok (lower than 1). The system load on the (Mac OS Maverics) host is going crazy after "a while". After the start of the box the hosts system load is a little bit higher than normal (e.g. 1.5). After some working (FTP read/write, loading documents in the browser etc.), the load increases to e.g. 4 or higher and stayes there. Normally i do a vagrant reload to stop this for some time.
I tried a lot of things: - Removed all kinds of synced folders - Increased / decreased memory - Added a CPU Core - Limited CPU cores to 1 - Ran a really small second box Nothing helped. I searched a lot in the net but did not find anything. Have you some suggestions what could cause this behavior and what i could do, to make my box usable?
