This article last year mentions the modern.ie Virtualbox VMs should work with Vagrant : http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ie/archive/2014/09/16/expanding-offers-and-vm-delivery-choices-on-modern-ie.aspx . Unless I misread something . I have never tried, but I was looking to start soon.
