Hi everybody! I'd like to use vagrant for developing JavaScript web applications. I have a windows 8 host and am running Ubuntu as a guest. I used Puphpet to configure vagrant.
When I install npm stuff I often get error messages that point out that there is a symlink problem. Problem is that the directories and physical files are on the windows host and npm tries to create symlinks on the windows file system. I am sure the problem is solved if the files would be located on the linux file system. *My Question* Is there an easy way to configure vagrant to automatically place the */var/www* folders on the linux system and use samba to connect to these folders from windows (network drives)? Thanks for your support! Regards! Colja -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Vagrant" group.
