Arvado, thank you.  

I didn't know I had to set up a proxy to connect to the internet, the 
instructions didn't say anything about this, and I wouldn't know how to go 
about doing it.  My machine *is *connected to the internet. 

Is there some other way than the command line to get whatever it is that 
these commands are trying to download?
