1. I have tried chef.client_key_path = 'c:/my_chef_fir/chef-repo/.chef/client.pem' It failed also. 2. chef.validation_key_path = 'c:\DevOps_with_chef_server\AWS_Chef_Server\chef-repo\.my-validator.pem' - works with no problem... Vagrant copies those file to bootstraped instance...
