I use ubuntu/trusty64 now.

By default dhclient.conf contains:

request subnet-mask, broadcast-address, time-offset, routers,
        domain-name, domain-name-servers, domain-search, host-name,
        dhcp6.name-servers, dhcp6.domain-search,
        netbios-name-servers, netbios-scope, interface-mtu,
        rfc3442-classless-static-routes, ntp-servers,
        dhcp6.fqdn, dhcp6.sntp-servers;

When changed to:

request subnet-mask, broadcast-address, time-offset, routers,
        host-name, netbios-name-servers, netbios-scope,
        interface-mtu, rfc3442-classless-static-routes,
        ntp-servers, dhcp6.fqdn, dhcp6.sntp-servers;

and machine restarted nameserver on eth0 gets populated into resolv.conf.

The second problem is when I surround this section with:

interface "eth0" {
        request subnet-mask, broadcast-address, time-offset, routers,
                domain-name, domain-name-servers, domain-search, host-name,
                dhcp6.name-servers, dhcp6.domain-search,
                netbios-name-servers, netbios-scope, interface-mtu,
                rfc3442-classless-static-routes, ntp-servers,
                dhcp6.fqdn, dhcp6.sntp-servers;
}

Vagrant freezes on restart.

Yes, I actually have no other choice but to provision each time, but I was
interested in a more canonical solution.
