Hello,

It looked like something in my ~/.vagrant.d wasn't right. And I could fix
the problem by removing ~/.vagrant.d and reinstalling Vagrant like this:
mv ~/.vagrant.d ~/.vagrant.d.bk
brew cask reinstall vagrant

I'm not sure if reinstalling Vagrant was needed, but after executing these
two commands, the problem's got resolved.

Bests,
Koji
