Also, I have the following lines at the first of Vagrantfile to ensure that 
the plugin is installed if previously don't:

# Install vagrant-hostmanager vagrant-vbguest
required_plugins = %w( vagrant-hostmanager vagrant-vbguest )
required_plugins.each do |plugin|
  system "vagrant plugin install #{plugin}" unless Vagrant.has_plugin? 
plugin
end

(modify as you need)
