Hi...I tried this with the Windows version of GAIM, and am now hanging out there. Since I didn't see any error messages I'm sort of assuming it worked... but if someone would give me a ping at your leisure, that would be great. I'm logged in as lkeyes.

Here's a quick link for those of you who use gaim and haven't used IRC before. It wasn't intuitively obvious to me how to autoconnect to a channel, but it's very easy to do - just create a group (call it VAGUE maybe) and alt-click "add chat", select IRC, channel vague, viola: http://www.freeculture.org/wiki/index.php/IRC_with_Gaim#Automate_your_IRC_ex perience Gotta love wiki's :-D
