Hi folks,
For those of you who weren't able to make it to the ACLU's privacy seminar
in Montpelier today, I'm posting recordings of his talks for download
(with Mr. Schneier's kind permission, of course). At some point (hopefully
before you get to reading this), the two files should be available at:
http://www.noiseplant.com/ACLU_20060613
They're currently in QuickTime format (sorry), about 40MB each, and the
quality is fair-to-good. Later in the week, I'll dust off some of my
audio engineering kung fu and juice them for better listenability. (And
re-upload them in a more universally-acceptable format.)
(And they're very much worth a listen: he's a good speaker.)
In other news, there was some off-list talk (by our intended presenter,
among others) about bumping our June meeting to next Thursday, 24 June.
Objections? Affirmations? Comments? Signs of life? Bueller?
Cheers,
- -sth
