Good suggestions, Aaron and Chris, on the Guardian and Craigslist. I'll add them to "the loop". So, below is the info I'll submit (subject to any required mangling to fit the necessary forms). Please comment as necessary (but quickly, as I'll look to get this in before the end of the work day today).

VAGUE, the Vermont Area Group of UNIX Enthusiasts, will hold its July meeting at the offices of Bear Code in Montpelier. This month's featured presentations will highlight programming in Python and Java. All interested folks are welcome, professionals and tinkerers alike. See http://www.uvm.org/vague or call 802-264-9875 for more information.

The target publications will be: the Burlington Free Press, the Times Argus, Seven Days, the Vermont Guardian, and Craigslist.

Aaron: would it be possible to include a link to Google Maps with this month's entry on the website? (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=85+Granite+Shed+Lane+Montpelier+VT&spn=0.033325,0.059850&hl=en)

BTW: for the future, does anyone have any (possibly political? privacy-related?) objections to consolidating things like the Google Maps URL to something "newspaperable" from tinyurl.com? (In this case, http://tinyurl.com/lw5kr) <PARANOID>They must be doing SOME sort of surreptitious, evil thing with all those click-throughs, right?</PARANOID> (This reminds me that we should all check out the latest edition of 2600 for "filesharing using tinyurl.com"; clever hackery, which is almost certainly in violation of tinyurl.com's ToS, but fun nonetheless...)

Gratias agimus tibi,

I can drive if there are enough people, and either depart from Essex
Junction or the south end of Burlington. If there aren't enough people,
I'd happily ride with Josh. :-)

Sorry about mangling the last one: I can do this, and will try the Freep
and the Times Argus in addition to the (incredibly short-notice) usual
Seven Days avenue. Any other ideas? Are there other local weeklies in the
Montpelier area?

I'll bring my signing stuffs. Is someone aggregating the "pre-printed
list"?
