This begs the sharing of a frightening usage I learned from a favorite
teacher many years ago:
A child is getting ready for bed, and the parent grabs a book off the
bookshelf and walks up to the kid's bedroom. The child asks "Why did
you bring that book I didn't want to be read to out of up for?"
