Hail Vaguers! Just wanted to post a quick email to say thanks to MAustin for the excellent tour of the UVM datacenter. I've never been around so much sheer power before and looking at those 50K IBM boxen makes me drool w/envy. So many new and shiny toys! So clean and well protected. And that's to say nothing of the underlying software systems and technologies that run on them.
So, thanks again for the impressive tour and presentation Mike. Any chance of
putting the slides on-line? Or a URL to a tgz archive? I promise I wont go
questing
for the DR or starting any avian flu scares:)
BTW, the UVM library called me and said to return their books. Your security
cameras
are truly SOTA.
