I just started using FOG for cloning (which I like), but it also has some other
utilities built in, like AVscaning, Memtest, surface test, windows local admin
password reset, and more.

The latest has a VM image download, so you can get to pxe boot that computers
pretty quickly and check it for viruses.

Subject: antivirus with bootable linux image

Hi folks.

I have a windows machine that is badly infected with viruses and malware (go
figure). I was thinking, what better way to remove a virus than by using a
bootable image of linux.

Can anyone give any suggestions for:

A) a Free antivirus that works with some flavor of linux?
B) Is there a free online scan that might work within a linux operating system?

You know what I'm trying to do. Thanks so much for your help.

Sincerely,
