Some may already have seen this in IT-discuss list. Hi all,
I just received the Archos PMA400 as a gift and trying to make full use out of it. It's just like an iTouch however it came out in 2004 and has a 30gig hardrive, tv/video recording capabilities, music playback, wi-fi, .pdf veiwer, and other applications. I'm running into problems such as not being able to access to UVM's wi-fi (Cat Paw's) because I can't install the VPN client for linux. The file is a .tar and I think my PMA will only accept .idk files (I could be wrong). I'm new to Linux so I have no idea on how to make the file compatible. On the Archos support page you could download a software developer's kit to customize the PMA and develop your own applications, however that's way far advance for me to explore in. Anyone in the area has something similar or would like to check it out please feel free to email me to meet up. Comments/suggestions welcome.
