Rene,

While I value the benefits of "owning" where my mail resides; I have
recently given up my dedicated co-lo server (which in retrospect was silly..
it was so cheap!) and moved all of my mail to Google for Domains.

I have had healthy conversations regarding the pro's and con's of hosting
your email with them, but at the end of the day; I get very little spam
(Thanks Postini!), and it "works in the places I do".

While perhaps not the short term answer to "how do I stop spam", it might be
interesting to see how something like Google for Domains might work, or not
work for your situation or company.
