Fellow VAGUERS:

Champlain College is looking for an Adjunct instructor to teach students systems programming for Linux/Unix. The course gives students hands-on opportunities to do systems programming in C, ie: exercise system calls, play with the kernel, write a few utilities, work with sockets, shared memory, process management (forks and daemons) and the like.

The course description is:

This course will introduce the student to programming under the Linux/ UNIX Operating System using Linux. Topics include Linux/UNIX system architecture, Linux/UNIX-based development tools, and Linux/UNIX programming standards.
Two sections of the course will meet at the following times:

01/15/2009-04/23/2009 Standard Thursday 09:30AM - 12:15PM, Skiff Annex, Room 100

01/14/2009-04/22/2009 Standard Wednesday 12:30PM - 03:15PM, Skiff Annex, Room 100
