Vendors were called for , selected some of them , practices were called for participation, again some selected. Their process is pretty rigorous as far as process goes. There's widespread ignorance about FOSS amongst the so-called-stake-holders, directors etc. I thought the leadership at the top ( farnum) would be knowledgeable or open to learning, especially calling themselves - Vermont Institute of Technology Leadership :-). I am sure they are all big shots. I am just a grassroot barking dog. We are having a Madoff-like moment right now. Due diligence is needed, evryone seems to sign off because they know someone who has signed off.This goes on and on.
