Dear Vague'rs, (with VBox knowledge, Paul) I have successfully installed VirtualBox on Debian Lenny, including the module-assistance polka. Have also successfully created a virtual machine running Sidux, a Debian Sid live CD. I ran the install routine including partitioning the vdi file, it all seemed to work like a regular install, including the remove CD and reboot prompt at the end. However, when restarting the virtual machine it starts up the live CD again. When I remove the CD from the virtual boot order I get the "no bootable medium" error. Starting from a snapshot I created brings up an image of the live CD.
How do I convince Vbox to start from the vdi file? Is there a way to examine the contents of the vdi file to see what's there? Thanks, John Bertelsen
