Do any of you know how one might handle authentication through CUPS while logging the jobs?
Example Workflow: John prints a webpage from Firefox on a Windows client. A prompt appears for username/password The credentials are not valid so the prompt is issued again The credentials are valid so the username is logged to a text file on the server When the logger returns success CUPS gets the okay to really print Can this be easily implemented with Kerberos / PAM?
