I'm so excited about how well the sessions are shaping up for FOSSed 2009! We have some amazing presenters and topics lined up for this year....and for once I have them posted early! Click Here to see what we have lined up thus far! Now all we need is YOU! Believe me, I know things are tough with the economy and scheduling. But, YOU are entitled to professional development. Stimulus funds are being made available to help schools continue to fund PD for teachers and tech staff. We have also been able to hold the line for this year with no increase in the conference fee. What does this fee include? EVERYTHING! An amazing 3 day hands-on learning experience, evening BOF (birds of a feather) sessions, incredible food and snacks...all meals, rooms, and networking/comaraderie that makes FOSSed such a unique professional development experience. All of our presenters are outstanding educators and technology personnel who excel in their jobs and want to share their knowledge with you. Learn from your colleagues! Share ideas! Learn new strategies that you can implement immediately! Whether you're a classroom teacher, school administrator, or a technology director/integrator/technician....we have something for everyone! You can freely attend ANY session(s) you want. Most sessions are half or full day in length so you'll get lot's of hands on experience. CEU's (Continuing Education Units) If you're a teacher looking to get recertified and you need credits....we have a great way for you to get 3.0 credits from the University of Southern Maine (USM)! That's right! FOSSed offers the opportunity to take adavantage of 3 full days of learning that you can apply in your school or classroom and get credit for it! You'll get an official transcript from USM shortly after you leave FOSSed. We're FLEXIBLE Got a money issue? Not sure when the PO may be ready or do you need to work something out for payment?
