This setup is in RTP, North Carolina. Lots of bandwidth providers in the neighbourhood for rock-bottom pricing. Comparing ECFiber's upstream options is tougher, requiring more transport to get to a major metro market for fat pipes.
Expect rampant over-subscription and miserable quality for voice and/or video. Decent customer service? They had to cut costs somewhere to sell service based on "low prices". For a government group to compete against private industry, especially markets with competition already, is a tough moral sell to capitalist standards. -D On Thu, Apr 23, 2009 at 8:55 PM, Stanley Brinkerhoff <[email protected]> wrote: > RE >> http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=14934 > > Does anyone have insight into how one might start a triple play provider > setup?
