Cool! At my desk at VPR, I get audio over CAT5 as well - but it's digital. I have a pair of edirol monitors with SPDIF inputs. Since it's a fairly short run, it's not balanced (since it's digital, the quality isn't affected). I suppose you could also run balanced AES/EBU audio through a house over CAT5, but converting the AES/EBU to consumer digital is quite expensive.
