i find that an amazing little program called xming totally resollves my love of both linux and gaming in this way, xming creates a xserver that allows connections to be utallised via the ssh -X option on a windows box, i am able to play games on one box and utalize my linux box gui just as if i was sitting there and as it uses windows as a display manager it has no need to load gnome or kde which drastically slow the network transport time,
